Finally!

The first draft is complete and polished ( a little bit). It's now off to the hands of my ever so sharp editor. Good luck with that work Jennifer.

First Draft

The first draft of Swampwater is complete. Now to polish it abit before sending it off to the editor. This work is about 60k larger then anything i have ever done in the past and at the moment i'm quite pleased with it. I hope you enjoy it as much as i have in writing it.

updated word total

hello all.... this is Jamie (David's wonderfully forgetful wife)... I've been lax in updating his word total this week.  I finally got it caught up and my dedicated husband has put in nearly 10k words in the last week alone... I am so incredibly proud of him.

Back at it

Sorry for my absence lately, but here is an update on Swampwaters status.
Finally on the last few chapters--the first draft is almost done. Then i will be revise it very quickly before sending it off to the editor. Hope you all will enjoy it as much as i have writing it.

Finally !

Finally I'm starting the conclusion section of Swampwater. Boy this book has some meat to it. Especially for someone who has never done anything longer then 10k before.
Hope you enjoy the final results.

The story continues

Swampwater is back on track. So far this year i have met every daily quota i have set. The story is getting thicker and the evil darker... but anyway that is something you will have to wait and read.
Does anyone have any ideas on what to do for a small break before i start the next story after Swampwater?

New Year?

The New Year is in a few hours: i thought i would slip in one or two of my goals for the coming year.
1) To finnish Swampwater before the end of January.
2) To complete and have at least two more full length works published after Swampwater before the end of the year.
3) To write at least 500 words a day when i'm working and 2k on my days off.
See all reasonable don't you think?
